This foodie and fitness enthusiast lives la dolce vita.
“I’ve had three pots of tea. Let’s do this!” shares an enthusiastic Cammisano, a self-proclaimed tea and honey fiend, as we sit down for a tête-à-tête to review how he navigates his days. Whether on the job or enjoying a day off with friends, one thing’s for sure: He does everything with passion and purpose. Cammisano’s charisma is magnetic and his company unparalleled. It’s safe to say that after spending five minutes with Cammisano you immediately want to be a part of his “club.” This could be attributed to his Italian upbringing. Hailing from Kansas City, Cammisano grew up with two older sisters and, as he would put it, “a V Italian family.” Each Sunday night was spent enjoying a pasta dinner with his family. This merrymaking tradition might also explain his love for cuisine. As the restaurant manager for uberposh eatery Grange Hall, where he wears all sorts of stylish hats on a daily basis, he’s constantly surrounded by exquisite bites and bonbons (if you know, you know). When asked what might be next on his bucket list? “I would love to do a culinary trip to Japan!” Similar to his approach to a strong work ethic is Cammisano’s approach to living life to its fullest. On an average day, he might be found concocting an elaborate costume party (he recently threw a Marie Antoinette-themed birthday bash), training rigorously at the gym or perhaps onstage belting Mariah Carey’s “Honey” on karaoke night. He handles whatever comes his way with gusto. Here, Cammisano dishes on the details of his not-so-average days.

JUMP-START
“I like to start my days at Alpha Project. I’ll get there early to do a quick warmup before class. Emily and Evan run an intense class, but it leaves me feeling great. I’ll usually stay after and stretch before heading home to make a smoothie and get ready for the day. I’m there Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. On the other days, I am swimming.” Interesting fact: Cammisano was on the swim team at his alma mater, University of Missouri. alphaprojectdallas.com

QUICK TRIM
“I cannot do a beard trim to save my life. I go to Daniel at Abbott’s Barber Shop every two weeks. It’s a classic place, and they know exactly what I want.” theshopsofhighlandpark.com

VALLEY OF THE DOLLS
“I call myself a VOD boy. I know that it’s women’s clothing, but I always find things there, too, that I love.” vodboutique.com

SIPS AND SINGALONGS
“I like to finish my day at Tei-An with friends. It’s just so delicious. We’ll start with dinner at the bar and stay until it turns into a dance party, complete with espresso martinis (dangerously delicious) and karaoke. Mariah Carey and all things ’90s are my jam! I love to sing—even though I may or may not be terrible.” tei-an.com
