Let the auction begin!
Make-A-Wish North Texas’ 18th annual Wish Night gala drew a sparkling array of guests to the Hilton Anatole to raise money to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. Sponsored by Helzberg Diamonds, the black-tie event raised $1.48 million and began with a silent auction showcasing Helzberg jewels, followed by dinner and a performance by past Make-A-Wish recipients, who gave testimonials on how the foundation has changed their lives. WFAA’s Cynthia Izaguirre emceed the evening, with hosts Scotty Landry, Beryl Raff, and Tony and JoAnne Roosevelt Jr., greeting the glittering crowd. –Photography by Jeffrey A. Davis
