THE EVENT Genesis Women's Shelter Executive Director Jan Langbein is known for scoring heavy hitters to speak at the annual Mother's Day Luncheon, sponsored by Modern Luxury Dallas, but this year she also pulled in a three-generation co-chair team. Nancy Ann Hunt and daughters Heather Hunt and Ashlee Hunt Kleinert, with granddaughter Connie Kleinert, helmed the sold-out affair at the Hilton Anatole. PRESENT COMPANY INCLUDED Presenting sponsors were Nancy C. and Richard R. Rogers, and NBC-DFW's Jane McGarry returned as luncheon emcee. Headliner Tom Brokaw held the crowd spellbound, that is, after a delightful interlude by campy operatic waiters. All told, more than $1 million was raised for Genesis—definitely something to sing about! Photography by Dana Driensky, Ed Lozano and Holt Haynsworth Photography
