Top of the Glass

| June 25, 2012 | Parties

The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden generally offers plenty of visual candy—with blooms and buds in rainbow shades. And the outdoor destination recently received a shot of even more sweetness with the bright taffy hues and spun-sugar forms of renowned glass artist Dale Chihuly. To celebrate the exhibit: a gala in the garden, chaired by Kaki Hopkins with honorary chairs Margaret Crow and Caroline Rose Hunt. Dinner came courtesy of Kent Rathbun and Neiman Marcus’ Kevin Garvin, as well as Gil’s Elegant Catering, but the real treats were Chihuly’s illuminated sculptures and the finale fireworks display.
