2. Nicolas Party Exhibition
On view Aug. 19 through February 2017, the Dallas Museum of Art has commissioned Swiss artist Nicolas Party to create a site-specific mural in the DMA’s Concourse Gallery. Party is known for his 1990s graffiti art, murals and canvas work. His DMA mural will cover the walls and ceiling of the museum’s main central corridor. Free. Dallas Arts District, 214.922.1200
3. Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center Presents Aim for Advocacy
Sporting and outdoor enthusiasts have the opportunity to support Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center’s mission to improve the lives of abused children in Dallas County at the Aim for Advocacy event Aug. 19.
