Three Decades of Decadence

Krystal Sarna | April 19, 2018 | Feature Features

Preston Hollow jeweler Matthew Trent celebrates 30 years of artistry.

First introduced to the art of jewelry-making by his art teacher in boarding school, Matthew Trent’s passion for the craft has evolved into a three decade-long family business. Inspired by architecture and nature, his gemstone work and wearable art appeal to jewelry and art collectors around the world. From a goldsmith apprenticeship to opening a namesake store, the Dallas-based jewelry designer has long created custom jewelry for the social elite, and now, his daughter Kiley is training to carry on the family business. Visit the Preston Hollow boutique for handcrafted collections—Tucson, Spike, Burnt Edge and Romeo—diamond and metal wedding bands, and limited edition Full Circle bangles (from $750) designed to celebrate the 30th anniversary theme of reflecting on the past while looking toward the future. 6-8pm, 8383 Preston Center Plaza, Ste. 120
