The National Multiple Sclerosis Society and Heisman Sponsor, Gold Metal Recyclers, hosts the annual On the Move Luncheon, which raises funds and awareness for multiple sclerosis. This year's event, chaired by Paula and Scott Burford, will feature guest speaker, Tyler Campbell, MS Ambassador and son of legendary football player Earl Campbell. Acting as Emcee for the event is Matt Nordgren, former University of Texas quarterback, philanthropist and reality star of Bravo’s Most Eligible: Dallas. Serving as honorary chairmen for this year’s luncheon are Jean and Walker Bateman.
Tyler Campbell, diagnosed with MS in 2007, has become an active ambassador for the National MS Society and is passionate about raising awareness to help others living with the disease. “I view my MS diagnosis as a blessing,” Campbell said. “I now have the opportunity to share my experience to help others living with this disease and make an impact on the MS community.”
On the Move is a nationwide program created to raise funds and awareness for multiple sclerosis. Each year, On the Move luncheons bring men and women together to encourage people to give from the heart to support their family members, friends and colleagues whose lives are touched by MS and educate communities about multiple sclerosis.
