The MAC presents Billy Hassell, Carol Selter and Daniel-Kayne

| April 10, 2012 | Calendar

In celebration of Earth Day, The MAC presents three new exhibitions featuring the works of local artist Billy Hassell, along with Carol Selter and Houston-based Daniel-Kayne. Hassell's Watershed includes paintings and color lithographs that survey the current state of humanity's most important resource: water. Animal Stories from Selter utilizes taxidermy to contemplate the displacement of wildlife due to the action or inaction of humans, while Daniel-Kayne's Mine... Mine... is a response to the notion of claiming ownership over natural resources. An opening reception with the artists will be held Saturday, April 14 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
