Grammy-award winning director Fabio Luisi is making his way to Texas conducting the Dallas Symphony Orchestra as Music Director Designate. This Italian virtuoso has an impressive CV; he’s also the General Musical Director of the Zurich Opera, Chief Conductor of the Danish National Symphony, and was previously Principal Conductor at the Metropolitan Opera in New York. Luisi won the Grammy Award for Best Opera Recording in 2013 and is also the holder of the Bruckner Ring awarded by the Wiener Symphoniker.
