Supper Club

| April 4, 2013 | Parties National

THE SETTING The Dallas Museum of Art held its 21st anniversary Silver Supper dinner, raising funds for the decorative arts program—including, of course, that rather impressive collection of English and Irish silver from the Hoblitzelle Foundation. Entertaining is all the more fun with 18th century silver, right? THE SCENE Honoree Margot Perot (who co-chaired one of the first Silver Suppers in 1990) was joined by current chairs Melissa Fetter and Ann Hobson, honorary chairs Nancy and Jeremy Halbreich, director Max Anderson and some 150 guests for a night of celebration and kind words for the DMA and its gracious benefactors. After all, spirits can’t be anything but high when the annual event has raised more than $1 million since 1987. THE CROWD As per usual, the women of Dallas outshined even the most polished of silver. Guests such as Jennifer Eagle, Kelli Ford, Julie Hawes, Jennifer Karol, Cristina Lynch, Cynthia Miller, Nelda Pickens, Jan Rich, Catherine Rose and Elizabeth Webb were all on hand for another beautiful night at the museum.
