Craving a culinary adventure? No need to grab a passport. A lively and romantic world waits just down the street. Cue in Te Deseo—Harwood District’s latest concept that’s serving up a rather spicy dish of fun. Upon entering the new restaurant, guests are transported to an exotic land full of colorful decor, vibrant beats and, of course, bold flavors for the tasting. Do we have you intrigued yet? Good... Energy abounds in the 14,000-square-foot-space, luring guests into the festive atmosphere and offering a little something for everyone. Enjoy cocktails alfresco in the courtyard before settling in for a wide selection of Latin America-inspired fare. Executive chef Ty Thaxton will entice you with his modern spin on traditional cuisine through dishes such as the stuffed arepas, charred octopus, angosto steak, Chilean sea bass and ribeye chuleton. Sip on an assortment of mezcals or the Chupito de la Casa before taking off, or, if you’re feeling a little saucy—head upstairs for a nightcap and enjoy live music and sweeping views from the rooftop terrace. Whichever route you choose, Te Deseo guarantees an authentic experience. This is the eighth concept for Harwood Hospitality, which represents eateries such as Dolce Riviera, Happiest Hour and Mercat Bistro. The group has established itself within the industry and practically everything it rolls out is received with open arms. And now, with the debut of Te Deseo, like moths to a flame, the city has responded. 2700 Olive St., 214.646.1314
