The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society marked its 41st year of St. Valentine's Day Luncheon & Fashion Show: XOXO Sending Love & Care.
St. Valentine's Day Luncheon & Fashion Show
Over 650 guests gathered at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center, dressed in their best shades of pink, purple and red, sipping Champagne and browsing items available for bid in the silent auction. The offerings included jewelry, sports experiences, artwork, staycations and more. Courtney Petit and Caitlin Wilson cochaired the event, with Mona and Grey Stogner serving as honorary chairs. LLS Red River Region executive director Leah Swanson presented the 2025 ICON Award to former First Lady Mrs. Laura Bush, who accepted the honor and shared a few words on the Bush family's ongoing commitment to the LLS mission. The evening's highlight was the highly anticipated fashion show produced by Jan Strimple. Models strutted the runway in vibrant spring collections from Highland Park Village retailers, including La Vie Style House, Veronica Beard, Simkhai, Lela Rose and Carolina Herrera. But the moment that stole the show was the annual tradition of host committee members' children walking the runway in looks from LoveShackFancy.
