“This is my bachelor party! Next week I’m marrying Miranda Lambert. I’m rich!” proclaimed country heartthrob Blake Shelton on stage at The Music Hall at Fair Park. Mary and John Gill co-chaired the black-tie-and-boots-themed Curtain Call gala benefiting Dallas Summer Musicals, where the witty Oklahoman charmed hundreds with his hits. (And I swear he winked at me.) Dancing with the Gills and crowd on the front row were Cara and Jim French, Kim and Greg Miller and honorary chair Amy Turner, who bought the live auction trip to Amanyara in the Turks & Caicos for all of her lucky pals.
