A moving performance by Booker T. Washington high school students and the Voices of the Gospel choir wowed the crowd, after which Maverick’s DJ Poizon Ivy mixed some groovy tunes. Guests noshed on passed apps washed down with mimosas and Bellinis, then headed to some of Dallas’ hottest restaurants to continue the party—participating eateries like Alice, Grange Hall and Le Bilboquet donated 20% of the days proceeds to the cause.
