As part of the Nasher Prize’s ongoing series of international public programs, The Nasher Sculpture Center will host a panel discussion and wine reception in partnership with The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza. The Nasher Prize Dialogues: Sculpture + History highlights artists who have fused tones of the current political climate with archived materials into works of sculpture, including three New York-based artists—Alfredo Jaar, Paul Ramirez Jonas, and Jill Magid—and Dallas-based artist, Lauren Woods. The event is part of a month-long celebration of the 2018 Nasher Prize Laureate, Theaster Gates. Be sure to check out all the Nasher has to offer in recognition of the most ambitious international sculpture award, starting with the Dallas edition of the Nasher Prize Dialogues on March 6. 7pm, The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza, 411 Elm St.
