DeBoulle hosted an exclusive evening with Swiss haute horlogerie manufacturer Girard-Perregaux (artful watchmakers since 1791, for the uninitiated) to view the 2014 collections and enjoy a sneak peek of the Constant Escapement L.M. Five years in the making, this movement was based on the company’s popular 2008 prototypes. In celebration of its release, West Coast Brand Manager Shirley J. Waters and historian and curator Willy Schweizer, were both on hand to demonstrate one of the greatest horological inventions since the tourbillon. Guests Brenda and Clay Cockerell, Shireen and Alan Duck, and Ben Davis enjoyed tunes by DJ Andre, treats by The Food Company and cocktails from Snow Leopard Vodka and Highland Park single malt Scotch whisky.
