Mixin' It Up On The Boulevard

Chefs for Farmers, a grassroots organization that raises awareness for the locavore movement in Texas, hosts this outdoor food, wine and spirits festival. More than 30 of the area’s most talented chefs (think Bruno Davaillon, Dean Fearing, Stephan Pyles and Kent Rathbun, among many others) whip up tasty bites while DJs spin tunes. An onsite farmers’ market features products from local artisans. All of the proceeds from the event benefit Meals on Wheels, Inc. of Tarrant County and Water for Chizavane, which provides a reliable and enduring source of clean water for families living along the coastal lowlands of Mozambique.
