Max-ed Out on MAC

Krystal Sarna | September 7, 2018 | Feature Features

A Texas-born fashion designer debuts a dreamy makeup line inspired by his home state on the heels of his New York Fashion Week show.

Texas-born, New York-based fashion designer Brandon Maxwell gets back to his roots for a creative homage to Texas with the launch of a makeup collection with MAC Cosmetics, based on the feel of his Spring-Summer 2019 fashion show. Maxwell’s collection with MAC draws inspiration from the Lone Star State and the Texas women who have inspired him. A desert-toned eyeshadow palette ($33), two high-shine lip glosses ($18.50) and two lip sticks ($19.50) make up the collection, and are all thoughtfully named with nods to his sisters, mother and grandmother. Pucker up and show off your Texas pride with this must-have collection. Available in select stores including MAC & Bumble and bumble Makeup and Hair Studio at NorthPark Center
