Matters of the Heart

| June 25, 2012 | Parties

The 21st annual CĂ´tes du Coeur, co-chaired by Sandy and David Alexander, not only brought together nearly 30 world-renowned wineries and 17 of Dallas’ foremost chefs, it also raised a record $3 million for the Dallas Division of the American Heart Association. And, since it was an epicurean extravaganza, it would be a travesty to not list some of the more memorable menu highlights—think aged rib-eye with wild mushroom peppercorn sauce and goat cheese polenta from lead chef Richard Chamberlain; molasses-glazed duck breast and posole stew with green chiles by Kent Rathbun; and sweet potato custard, chilled lobster, dashi and trout roe from Bruno Davaillon.
