The ample seat height of the Phileas sofa allows for maximum comfort.

Family-owned since 1860, French furniture brand Ligne Roset has grown from a small business to an international company with 200 stores around the world, including a showroom in Dallas. Known for its myriad collaborations with dynamic designers, the decor doyen boasts chic furnishings for a luxurious lifestyle. France native and design notable Philippe Nigro is a longtime collaborator, and most recently debuted the Phileas seating line. The collection, which comprises settees, an armchair and a footstool, evokes a feeling of nostalgia while employing modern ergonomics and state-of-the-art design methods. Each piece is crafted with ultraflexible foam for maximum comfort, with cover material options including leather, velvet and fabric. Vertical quilting recalls the upholstery of 1950s car seats and retro gentlemen’s clubs. The sofa and armchair are reminiscent of banquettes from the iconic Orient Express passenger train. The name of the collection itself is an ode to Phileas Fogg, the main character in Jules Verne’s 1873 adventure novel, Around the World in Eighty Days. And much like its literary namesake, the Phileas collection is sure to elicit a sense of wanderlust. 4438 McKinney Ave., Ste. 200, ligne-roset.com/us
