Adding some sizzle to The Epic Development of Deep Ellum—Komodo awaits.
Designed by New York-based firm ICRAVE, the space reflects a similar aesthetic as its Miami flagship, including illuminated “bamboo” cutout columns.
Rife with rich cultural offerings and authentic cuisine, Komodo recently made its Dallas debut. The Southeast Asian-inspired restaurant has set up shop in the burgeoning Epic development in Deep Ellum. Helmed by Miami-based firm Groot Hospitality, this marks the company’s foray outside the South Florida region; however, we can attest that they’ve brought the heat with them. Featuring a sumptuous menu of signature dishes, including the Peking duck, miso Chilean seabass and wagyu beef, the restaurant also offers a full sushi bar.
Komodo spans two stories and accommodates up to 270 diners across tabletop, booth and bar seats.
Weaving in details from the Miami flagship, the restaurant features bold swaths of color, illuminated columns and other swoon-worthy details popping up at each turn. Next time you’re craving palette-pleasing dishes in a decadent backdrop, this is the move. 2550 Pacific Ave., komododallas.com
