Explore the campgrounds by horseback on a private trail ride. Guests will be guided through getting acquainted with the horses before they embark on the trail. Or, ride around in the corral. It’s perfect for new riders and guests clamoring to take a safe picture with the horses. The retreat also offers private lessons with an experienced trainer.

The 117-acre horse ranch has a lot to discover. Take a trail ride on horseback to connect with the equines and peacefully view the huge skies of Texas. The ranch also offers a variety of private lessons to hone in your horsemanship skills.

Experience a trail ride suited for all riders, whether you’re experienced, inexperienced, a Western-styler rider, an English-style rider or have kids over six years old that love horses. Explore wooded land surrounding Lake Grapevine by horseback at Marshall Creek Ranch. Guided trail rides are offered for guests of all riding-ability, but beware the terrain can be treacherous. Horses will cross creeks and streams on the trail ride, giving guests the full adventuresome experience.
