High Five!

| April 27, 2011 | Parties National

The SoirĂ©e: We must admit the fifth year of our signature event, Modern Luxury Dallas' Fresh Faces of Fashion Gala, presented by Park Place Motorcars Dallas and Stanley Korshak, was as fresh as ever (and completely sold out—thanks to standout co-chairs Yvonne Crum and Jill Rowlett, who worked tirelessly on behalf of the Suicide and Crisis Center of North Texas). So it was no surprise that hundreds of decked-out guests crowded into Korshak’s couture level for the fashion show and cocktail reception, sidling up to the bar for citrus-infused Belvedere sips and Voga Italia pinot grigio. Then, it was off to the Rosewood Crescent Hotel for the gala dinner with honorary chair Patricia Massey Sivori. The ballroom was a chic study in violet with Shane Walker’s hyacinth and rose floral table arrays paired with chill tunes by DJs Jennifer Miller and Jeff Mitchell. Style Notes: Korshak just celebrated a milestone anny of its own, 25 years, so the retail powerhouse pulled out all of the haute stops for the show, which highlighted the best of spring. But, the real stars of the runway were the Fresh Faces, who took a spin in Brunello Cucinelli’s casual-luxe exits. The After Glow: Hotel ZaZa’s newly redesigned Dragonfly played host to an impromptu post-gala party and sent out Champagne bottles (lit with sparklers) for the fresh-faced VIPs.
