Perched between Victory Park and Uptown in The Union, Sam Fox brings yet another one of his Fox Restaurant Concepts to Dallas from Phoenix with The Henry. The no-expense-spared 15,664-square-foot, two-story space is a testament to Fox’s successful restaurant empire. Lush navy fabric walls with nailhead trim; an oversize leather chesterfield sofa; gallery walls with perfectly composed framed art; and floor-to-ceiling windows throughout have made it a hot spot for the aesthetes in the crowd. Open daily at 7am, The Henry invites guests to begin the day with breakfast in its Coffee Bar, or you can sit at an outdoor patio table and order from a menu that includes vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free items. The Harvest Bowl with veggies and ancient grains is a no-guilt go-to for lunch. For dinner, a center-cut beef filet with roasted mushrooms and shallots or the seared ahi tuna in lemon grass broth are both winners. But honestly, it doesn’t matter what you eat: Here, pretty and handsome rule. This is Dallas, after all. 2301 N. Akard, 972.677.9560
