Plano's Legacy West celebrated its official grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony late May, and ever since, North Dallas has been a restaurant hot-spot! Hop in the car, because we're heading North!
Head to North Dallas for Northern Italian!

Here are the latest must-try eateries to open up shop in Richardson, Plano and beyond:

Earl’s Kitchen + Bar: This globally inspired restaurant is an iconic foodie staple in Canada, and now the first Texas location is opening at Legacy West. Expect a diverse menu from Head Chef Chris Memme, from avocado toast and ahi tuna salad, to Bibimbap and chicken curry. And never forget to peruse the cocktail menu, crafted by beverage director Cameron (Cam) Bogue, who came from working with Michelin-star Chef Daniel Boulud. 7401 Windrose Ave., Legacy West, Plano

North Italia: Also making its Legacy West debut, this restaurant from True Food Kitchen’s Sam Fox is North Italian cuisine as seen through a modern lens—enjoy light antipasti, handmade pizzas made with house-made daily dough, pasta and more in this sprawling, open space. And definitely request the 1,500 square-foot patio. 7501 Windrose Ave., Suite D190, Plano

Berrynaked: These organic, artisanal, all natural popsicles have been a Dallas hit, and now your favorite Prickly Pear Lemonade, Avocado Coconut and Cookies n’ Cream pops will be in Richardson—and come September, you’ll also be able to find them at Legacy Hall in Plano! Plus, the Richardson location launched the new Berrynaked puree bowls; fruit puree-based snack or meal-replacement bowls made to order and topped with hemp hearts, bee pollen, coconut shavings, goji berries and more! 326 W. Campbell Rd., Richardson

Tricky Fish: Richardson’s City Line is home to Tricky Fish, a stylishly casual seafood spot serving fresh food with a coastal inspiration. Now, they’re serving up brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 2pm. Try the Andouille hash and eggs, NOLA Benedict, fried shrimp and oyster grits and the best Michelada or La Paloma in the area. 1251 State St., Richardson
