Girl Talk

| April 27, 2011 | Parties National

“I could have been so much cuter,” quipped New York Times bestselling author and Atlanta native Emily Giffin, in town to speak at the Community Partners of Dallas’ Chick Lit Luncheon, after jokingly expressing her annoyance when a local salon cancelled her hair appointment. Nevertheless, Giffin has it all going on—the blonde beauty with plenty of cheeky wit even has Kate Hudson starring in the movie version of her first book, Something Borrowed. She dished about her popular reads at the Modern Luxury Dallas-sponsored event, hosted at Brook Hollow Golf Club and co-chaired by Angela Nash and Anne Stodghill.
