John Terlingo and friends raised more than $100,000 for the American Cancer Society in honor of Farrah Fawcett.

THE PARTY Dallasites hosted the first-ever Texas fundraiser in honor of Lone Star legend Farrah Fawcett, raising more than $100,000 for the American Cancer Society when they partnered with the Farrah Fawcett Foundation. Proceeds will allow friends and family of the actress, who lost her battle with cancer in 2009, to name a room after Fawcett at Hope Lodge Dallas.

Dreamed up by John Terlingo, whose spin studio, Terlingo Cycle, has long supported the Foundation, the fundraiser was a group effort by Chuck Steelman (planner and organizer), Shelby Wagner, Claire Emanuelson and Muffin Lemak. Guests included celebrities such as actresses Alana Stewart and Morgan Fairchild, actor Fred Willard, producer-director-actor Andrew Stevens and Fawcett’s nephew, Greg Walls.

THE HIGHLIGHTS Clint and Nancy Carlson hosted the event at their estate, where they set up three dinner tables throughout the home. Dinner was provided by The Joule’s catering service, and guests went home with goodies from Giorgio Armani beauty, Roots Juices and Terlingo Cycle. –Nadia Dabbakeh; photos by Thomas Garza
