The Highlights In its second year on the scene, the MTV Re:Define art auction raised more than $1 million for the MTV Staying Alive Foundation. Co-hostesses Jessica Olsson-Nowitzki and Anna-Sophia van Zweden took to the stage at The Goss-Michael Foundation to introduce auctioneer Simon de Pury, and then the games began…The Scene As an energetic de Pury announced each lot, the rowdy crowd bid on pieces curated by The Future Tense’s Ed Bartlett and Paul Missing, both looking dapper while watching their work fly. Artists including Marc Quinn, Dave White (who painted on- site), Juergen Teller, GĂ©rard Rancinan, Ryan McGinness, Tomokazu Matsuyama, Lee Baker, Tom Leighton and others all had paddles flying. The Players Dallas’ best-dressed art enthusiasts made for a magnificent crowd—from handsome lads such as Rajan Patel, Dallas’ Josh Henderson and a beaming Dirk Nowitzki, who in a role reversal was there to support his lady at her game, to a slew of beauties including Christen Wilson, Joyce Goss, Nancy C. Rogers and Georgia Arnold, executive director of the MTV Staying Alive Foundation. The Goss- Michael Foundation has never looked so good. Photography by Bruno and Jason Janik
