The Dallas Woman's Forum will present its third annual Antiques at the Alexander in a new two-day format on March 8 & 9 at the Alexander Mansion at 4607 Ross Avenue in Dallas. The public is invited to bring in their antique treasures for on-the-spot evaluations by appraisers and conservators and to hear fascinating lectures, all centered on a French theme.
On Saturday, March 8, lectures on French jewelry, art, furniture and porcelain will be presented from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm, and a buffet luncheon will be served. The Dallas Woman’s Forum will follow the lead of other well-known antiques forums by charging a single price for the full day of activities, which will be $85.
Appraisal and conservator consultations will be given on Sunday, March 9 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Consultations are $25 each, or three for $60. A two-day ticket for all the lectures, lunch and three consultations is $125. Tickets may be purchased at the door, or call 214-823-4533 or go to www.dallaswomansforum.org/
