Interior designer Amy Berry in her eponymous boutique wearing a store-exclusive pink embroidered net caftan, $650, by La Vie Style House
“It’s a little collection of things that I love,” says interior designer Amy Berry of her charming new Oak Lawn Avenue boutique. Dubbed Amy Berry Home (amyberryhome.com), the light-filled space houses treasures in every corner, including antique furnishings, custom upholstered pieces, dinnerware designed by friend Mark D. Sikes, La Vie Style House caftans and everything you need to deck out the most darling of nurseries. “I designed [the space] like I would a project—except it was what I want,” Berry says, laughing. The designer’s classic tendencies shine in vignettes featuring one-of-a-kind finds such as a bench plucked from a Palm Beach estate sale and a vintage wood inlay desk from India. Everything in the store is in stock and ready to go, which was one of Berry’s main goals. “A lot of this evolved out of having young clients who immediately want something,” says the busy mom of two. “You don’t have to wait so long for that sofa. You can just have it.”
