THE PARTY The Dallas Historical Society toasted to 100 years at its Centennial Celebration Reception and Open House at The Hall of State in Fair Park. Guests celebrated the milestone with boozy libations and passed apps while strolling the society’s many exhibits housing over three million rare artifacts.

THE PEOPLE Dallas’ finest graced the scene, from honorary chair Louise Phinney Caldwell to DHS executive director Karl Chiao and president of Pegasus Bank Joe Goyne. Other noteworthy guests included DHS chairman of the board Dr. Roy Washburn, Joe Dealey, Shannon Callewart, Veletta Forsythe Lill, Stacey McCord, Ashlee Weidner and Robert Witte.

THE PINNACLE Guests were greeted by historical reenactors portraying General Sam Houston and William B. Travis, a Texas commander at the Alamo. Mayor Eric Johnson also sent a video message congratulating the society for the momentous milestone.
A stunning cake served as a centerpiece for the celebration.
