The grand opening of the Dallas City Performance Hall kicks off with four days of free and ticketed events, ranging from national to local, big and small productions, all designed to demonstrate the broad spectrum of performing arts the Hall is capable of showcasing. “Dallas City Performance Hall was designed to bring Dallas’ rich, shared culture to life,” said Maria Munoz-Blanco, director of City of Dallas’ Office of Cultural Affairs. “It provides a platform for the discovery of arts, not just by citizens, but for our city’s emerging to mid-sized arts groups as well.” The Hall opens with a variety of free-to-the-public events and family-friendly activities as well as ticketed concerts, including performances by Sarah Jaffe, Kessler Theater's Triple Play and jazz and local arts groups.
