Beauty secrets? Not for these Dallasites. Our four subjects reveal what it takes to maintain their envy-inducing looks and how they make it all look so easy.

Lisa Pineiro

Dallas beauty entrepreneur Lisa Pineiro is the walking embodiment of Glotrition, the two-step skincare system she created in 2015 that consists of a collagen peptide drink mix and topical serum. Pineiro’s daily routine—straightforward and results-driven—mimics her brand’s philosophy, and her dedication to clean eating and regular exercise maintain her youthful glow. “There’s a link between beauty and nutrition,” says the mother of four sons, who’s almost 50. “I used to take over a dozen pills every day and had a counter filled with lotions and serums,” Pineiro says. “I needed to make my life simpler.” Now, with the system sold at Nordstrom nationwide, anyone can pare down their routine. What’s next? New two-step hydrating, color correcting and skin defense systems will hit the market later this year.

Ed Shaikh

Walk around enough in well-heeled Highland Park circles and there’s a certain linen slipper likely to be encountered. Linen or silk in myriad colors and embroidered with two men shaking hands to create the silhouette of the letter H, it’s the signature unisex footwear of Hadleigh’s, the luxury storefront and atelier owned by Ed Shaikh and his wife, Gable. Another signature: cobalt blue. Mr. Shaikh is known for donning his brand’s emblematic shade in bespoke Italian-made suits, linen pocket squares, socks and button-downs. His high-profile clients can now also visit his newest addition to his burgeoning lifestyle brand at the new storefront on Madison Avenue in New York City.

Steve Noviello

For 15 years, Steve Noviello has been a familiar and friendly face on FOX 4 News. A consumer reporter and news anchor, the 43-year-old has recently added being a father to the top of his CV. He and his husband, Doug, recently celebrated the first birthday of their son, Jacob. A 6:30am wake-up time for his little one is now worked into his already long days anchoring sometimes multiple newscasts at various hours. And his days off? “You can always tell when a male newscaster has a day off because they don’t shave,” he says with a laugh. “It’s such a treat because you have to shave every day you’re on the air.” Here, he shares what he relies on—products and his favorite exercise routine—for his sharp look. “There’s only so much the makeup can cover up.”

1 “You’ll find me working off that new-dad weight at Barry’s Bootcamp four days a week, with an acai berry smoothie from The Fuel Bar after class as a reward.” $30 per class,

4 “The rechargeable FOREO LUNA 2 for MEN’s T-Sonic pulsations deliver deep facial cleansing that ensures a closer, smoother shave after just one minute” $200,

5 “The Baby Brezza Formula Pro is like a Keurig for baby formula. One touch dispenses perfectly measured, mixed and heated baby formula. It cuts down on crying baby, which means fewer bags under daddy’s eyes too.” $180,

Ashley Akin Pearl

“I’ve worked out every day since I was 17 years old,” says Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s Vice President Ashley Akin Pearl. The results are noteworthy and enviable. From those days as a student at The Hockaday School to now, Akin Pearl has maintained a fitness and health care routine that has remained consistent for three decades. “I never skip even one part of it,” she says. Daily cardio and yoga, plus a gluten-free, no-red-meat diet and sunscreen yield a look that belies her age. “I’ll be 50 this year,” she says proudly. Motivation is the only thing that’s changed over the years. “It used to be about being thin,” she says. “Now it’s about staying healthy. Cardio protects my heart and yoga works my muscles.” But she’s quick to reveal her one weakness: warm chocolate chip cookies. “Who can resist Tiff’s Treats?” she says of the warm-cookie delivery service. The answer: no one.
