Bow Down

| May 23, 2013 | Parties

THE SETTING Forty Five Ten’s Brian Bolke welcomed Viktor & Rolf designers Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren to Dallas just in time to appreciate Art Week—and dress a bevy of cool Dallas girls in their deconstructed bows. THE SCENE The designing duo and their fall 2013 collection were celebrated at the boutique first, where DJ Lucy Wrubel spun her too-good-not-to-dance-to tunes, and folks imbibed summer cocktails and enjoyed sugar cookies emblazoned with a signature V&R insignia. THE CROWD From there, a style-savvy crowd including Michelle Moussa, Rajan Patel, Stephanie Roberts, Catherine Rose, Capera Ryan, Christen and Derek Wilson and others migrated to the Rachofsky House to join Cindy and Howard for dinner and drinks. Ten percent of proceeds from the trunk show were donated to the Dallas Contemporary’s Bespoke, and to top off their charitable visit, the designers unveiled 45 limited-edition bangles exclusive to the Dallas boutique, from which all proceeds will be donated to Fifty Nine Foundation, the nonprofit founded by Bolke in tribute to late business partner Shelly Musselman.
