Odelay, Julian Barsotti’s new resto, will be a tribute to Dallas Tex-Mex cuisine, located at 5600 Lovers Lane near Inwood Village. Known for his excellence in Italian cuisine, the owner of Dallas’ beloved Nonna, Fachini, Carbone’s and Sprezza and mastermind behind it all is taking it to a more personal level. In a nod to his childhood comfort food, Barsotti has partnered with Michael Barnett with a mission to introduce a hacienda-style, one-of-a-kind restaurant elevating Tex-Mex food.
Previously launching the popular Rita’s & Queso delivery concept that emerged through the pandemic, Barsotti has expressed his desire to open a brick-and-mortar Tex-Mex restaurant well before that. Expect to find signature Texican plates like fajitas, gorditas, enchiladas and tacos made from locally sourced, fresh ingredients. From housemade tortillas to the ground beef, every dish will contain wholesome ingredients. Th e bar will also have an emphasis on Mexico’s most popular drink, tequila.
Striving to be family-friendly and approachable, the partnership between the brilliant Barsotti and Barnett will surely become a must spot for the Dallas foodie scene. Featuring an expansive 2,600-square-foot patio and over 100 seats, Odelay’s decor will embrace Mexico’s vibrant culture with a spicy twist and a Texan vibe. We also foresee many fall nights sipping and snacking alfresco on the twinkle-lit patio. See you there!
