Art Alliances

| April 23, 2014 | Parties

Performing arts-lovers gathered at the Hilton Anatole for the annual TACA Silver Cup Award Luncheon in honor of two Dallas legends: Holly Mayer and Lucilo Peña. With a dizzying list of organizations between them—The Dallas Opera, Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Dallas Museum of Art and Nasher, to name a few—it’s no wonder they were recognized. Fellow art philanthropists Carol and Don Glendenning served as this year’s chairmen, while last year’s award honorees, Peggy Sewell and Roger Nanney, were all smiles as they presented the honors. This year TACA plans to provide more than $1.4 million in grants to performing arts groups in North Texas. –Photography by Dana Driensky and Daniel Driensky
