And the Awards Go To...

| March 30, 2012 | Parties

The Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra String Quartet opened the show at the recent TACA Grant Awards Presentation, where the evening celebrated the $1 million distributed to 41 diverse North Texas performing arts organizations (including the GDYO!). Hosted at the Wyly Theatre, the event welcomed special guest Jonathan Moscone, artistic director of California Shakespeare Theater and former artistic associate of the Dallas Theater Center. The chairman of TACA’s Board of Directors, Andrew Teller Jr., was positively thrilled that The Arts Community Alliance had hit the million mark for five consecutive years, thanks to its supporters.
