Tell us about DC Partners.
DC Partners is a real estate investment and development firm specializing in luxury highrise residential, mixed-use and hospitality projects in Texas.
Our most recent mixed-use development was The Arts Residences at Thompson San Antonio hotel, which was the fastest-selling condo in the region. Residences at The Allen and Thompson Houston hotel will deliver this fall. We are 80% sold—with select penthouses and 2-3 bedroom units available.
What sets The Allen apart from other developments?
The Allen is the first development in Houston that offers a hotel with residential living in over two decades. The 99 luxury residences and penthouses are atop Houston’s first Thompson hotel and offer all the benefits of hotel living—including separate hotel and condo valet, concierge, private garages, luxury spa services, private poolside cabanas—and room service.
What do you think the launch of The Allen will do for the Houston market?
The Allen is redefining highrise living in Texas. Texas continues to attract people from all over the country, and some from outside of the states. The Allen offers all the luxuries and experiences of properties they are familiar with in cities like New York and Miami. Our goal is to create one-of-a-kind, design-forward landmark developments that elevate Texas in the global market.
What do you think Houston buyers are looking for within the highrise landscape?
People in Houston are looking for many of the same features as buyers from other major cities. They want highly amenitized services yet still want to preserve their privacy and proximity to all the places they love—restaurants, shopping and entertainment. The Allen offers all of those experiences.
