The gorgeous Forty Five Ten store on Main Street is hosting an AGMES Jewelry trunk show featuring a personal appearance by the designers on Wed., Nov. 7.
Shop these handmade New York pieces made from precious metals. Featured in Vogue, The New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, and more, this modern jewelry line is inspired by architecture, geometry, and urban landscapes.
AGMES was launched in 2016 and is an ode to sculpture and the feminine aesthetic. The brand’s creators are sisters Morgan and Jaclyn Solomon, and they will be at the event from 3-6pm. In an interview with The Window, Jaclyn Solomon said, “We research photos of architecture, art, and interior design. There’s a lot of sculptural inspiration with global art combined. Our wave pieces, for example, came from a Mexican serving piece we both really loved.”
This sister act is mainly inspired by modern architecture, and that is seen through the sophisticated, understated and yet elegant feel to the sculpted pieces.
Take a look at their Instagram, @agmesnyc, to get a glimpse of their stunning designs before seeing the real thing.
