Pulling back the curtain on a brief but brilliant career, the Dallas Museum of Art (dma.org) unveils Abraham Ángel: Between Wonder and Seduction. Celebrating its first dedicated show within the U.S. of the prolific artist— lauded to be one of the leading artists of his generation— Ángel’s body of work is spectacular and immediately sparks crucial conversations on Mexican culture during the early 20th century. “His art embodies joy and vivacity while tracing Mexico’s transformation from rural to modernized,” shares DMA’s Eugene McDermott Director, Dr. Agustín Arteaga. “Ángel’s life story continues to resonate, and his art will captivate audiences of today as it did a century ago.”
