The Dallas Arboretum was aglow as guests gathered to celebrate the 18th annual A Writer's Garden Star Style Glamour for the Home & Garden, presented by the Weber Foundation.

Champagne flowed as guests entered Rosine Hall and took in the beauty of the floor-to-ceiling projection images of romantic peonies, cabbage roses and fluttering butterflies created by LIGHTWARE LABS of Dallas. Therese Rourk, president of the Women's Council, dazzled attendees in a sapphire and diamond necklace that would later be featured in the live auction. Martyn Lawrence Bullard and Stefani Bittner were the spotlight speakers, captivating the audience with vivid stories from their interior design and landscaping careers. Guests enjoyed a charcuterie plate, a gourmet entrée and a dessert selection, which included apple tart and cranberry-glazed cheesecake. To cap off the evening, everyone was invited to join docent-led tours of A Woman's Garden.
