FETE FOR FUNCTION The 54th Art Ball lives up to its legend.
THE PARTY “Form & Function” was the theme of Dallas Museum of Art’s 54th annual Art Ball, aimed to celebrate the sculptural and textural innovation by artists throughout the DMA’s renowned collection. The always-anticipated evening, which included a live auction conducted by Christie’s, raised TK for the Museum’s special exhibitions, collection and public programming. THE GUESTS This year’s co-chairs, Lindsey Collins and Amanda Shufeldt, and museum director Dr. Agustín Arteaga welcomed black-tie clad visions: Nancy Rogers, Jessica and Dirk Nowitzki, Meghan Looney, Brooke and Blake Davenport, Kara and Randall Goss, TK. THE HIGHLIGHTS The dazzling set of philanthropists first feted in the cocktail lounge, eyeing the gorgeous floral display installed by the evening’s designer, Todd Events. The four-course dinner, prepared by Cassandra Fine Catering, included citrus-cured salmon with crème fraîche and caviar, and a passion fruit tart for dessert. Patrons danced the night away to DJ Elusive, sipping on the Maestro Dobel Tequila provided for each table.
