The city’s most fashionable descended on the downtown flagship of Neiman Marcus to celebrate the 49th annual Crystal Charity Ball Fashion Show and Luncheon. Honored as the featured designer du jour, Adam Lippes traded in New York Fashion Week for the covetable opportunity to showcase his SS24 collection at the momentous occasion. And, what an occasion it certainly was. After buzzing about during the Champagne happy hour, the chic coterie settled into their seats on floor two as the program commenced. Our favorite Cowgirl, Charlotte Jones, kicked off the presentation of this year’s honorees. Making their way down the catwalk donning fashions from Lippes, Jones spoke of each lady’s impressive accolades and various charity involvement.
Then, it was showtime. The lights dimmed, the music deepened and, voila, fashion maestro Adam Lippes unveiled his highly-anticipated collection. Many an ooh and aah could be heard throughout the space before a well-deserved standing ovation ensued.
This year’s Ten Best Dressed Honorees were as follows: Marybeth Conlon, Monica Eastin, Libby Hegi, Kim Hext, Meredith Land, Anne McPherson, Wendy Messmann, Kim Quinn, Lisa Rocchio and Sunie Solomon. Claire Emanuelson was the Hall of Fame Honoree and Patty Leyendecker served as Fashion Show Chairman.
