Thousands of patrons packed Klyde Warren Park for the Park’s inaugural Independence Day Celebration, showcasing a grand fireworks display, a community ice cream social, family-friendly games and activities, and the inspiring sound of patriotic tunes. Park guests enjoyed $1 gelato and frozen treat samples from food truck vendors, while listening to live performances by the Dallas Opera and the U.S. Army’s 36th Infantry Division Band. The free event culminated with a spectacular pyrotechnic display on the Park’s East Lawn.
