Touching down just in time to get you party-prepped for the holidays, lauded skincare house Augustinus Bader has set up shop in West Village (3699 McKinney Ave #510). We tapped celebrity facialist and brand representative Lord Gavin to learn more about the pop-up, skincare tips and tricks and more.
What first sparked your passion and led you to launch your career in beauty?
Since I was a teenager, I have been skin-obsessed due to suffering from pretty aggressive acne. I realized then the impact problematic skin has on self-esteem, which led to a journey to find the right solutions. This investigation became a passion that ultimately led me to what I do today.
What is the best part of your job?
There are so many highlights to the job that I do. It’s a great honor to work with and represent Augustinus Bader. Advocating for a product line that does what it claims to do brings an unmatched satisfaction level. I’m also lucky to work with some of the world’s most renowned and respected stars. Every day is an adventure, which is truly the best.
What are you most looking forward to about launching in the Dallas market?
I look forward to the Dallas market having a more extensive awareness of this exceptional brand, discovering our skin and hair solutions and experiencing our professional industry facial.

Augustinus Bader will continue defying the beauty industry’s expectations through beautiful product innovations and collaborations. Stay tuned. As for me, I will support the Dallas pop-up and continue my work with A-list talent before launching my own beauty tool next year.
