Bonne Santé was launched in the summer of 2010 by the National Kidney Foundation Serving Texas and William Koval, Executive Chef, Lakewood Country Club. Each year this event has continued to grow with the support of our chefs and the community.
Chef Koval leaned on the National Kidney Foundation during a trying time when his son was born with only one kidney. Today, with his healthy son, Nathan, by his side in the kitchen, Chef Koval is an avid support of the National Kidney Foundation. The National Kidney Foundation is honored to be associated with Chef Koval in launching Bonne Sante’ and thanks him for his untiring efforts in making it a reality.
