1. Black Tie Dinner
The 35th Annual Black Tie Dinner Oct. 1 will be the best party in town with entertainment by multiplatinum recording artist Deborah Cox and a special appearance by Emmy-nominated actress Connie Britton. The event is the largest fundraising event for the LGBT community in the nation, and supports North Texas Beneficiaries and the Human Rights Campaign Foundation. 5:30pm. Tickets from $400. 2. Zoo To Do Silver Safari

The Dallas Zoo hosts the 25th annual Zoo To Do party Oct. 1. Watch the sun set on the African Savanna while enjoying culinary creations from the finest chefs and restaurants in Dallas, including Abacus, Bolsa and Parigi. 3. 2016 Texas Trailblazer Awards Luncheon
Ronan Farrow, influential human rights activist, journalist and son of Mia Farrow, is the keynote speaker at the annual Texas Trailblazers Luncheon Oct. 4, which supports The Family Place, an organization that helps survivors of domestic violence. 11:30am. 4. The Giving Gala 2016

Join The Real Estate Council for its biggest party of the year Oct. 6, as the Anatole Sculpture Park transforms into a jazzy New Orleans-style party for Giving Gala 2016: Joy of Giving.
