Transport yourself to the whimsical world of Oz where the story is retold by Elphaba Thropp in the Broadway smash hit WICKED. Running Aug. 3 through Sept. 4, the show will kick off the 2021-2022 season for Dallas Summer Musicals. “It’s a poignant moment for our industry, our organization and audiences that we will always cherish, coming out of such a challenging year as this past one,” says Ken Novice, DSM president. “WICKED shows us there’s no place like home—and we can’t think of a better way to welcome home our Broadway shows at the Music Hall than with this longrunning, award-winning fan favorite!” dallassummermusicals.org
Offering seasonal items and signature staples, Berkley’s Market has it all. PHOTO COURTESY OF BERKLEY’S MARKET
As purveyors of some of the city’s top seasonal offerings and freshest ingredients, Emily Ray-Porter, Zac Porter and Cullen Potts have had their fingers constantly on the pulse helping to create a sense of community within a bodega-style hub and eatery alike. Hot off the heels of carrying out their vision of Royal Blue within the Dallas market, the trio is back with a new concept—Berkley’s Market—which will be located at two of their current stores in the Dallas Art District as well as Downtown and, this just in, Oak Cliff. What to expect? A perfect one-stop-shop for dining, indulging and gathering with friends and family. With their sights set on embodying the charm of each neighborhood where they plant their flavorful flag, we have no doubt they will be embraced. If you need to find me, I’ll be nestled under one of their signature umbrellas. berkleysmkt.com
